This fall/winter the band will release it’s third recording, Vague Era. The album, just under 40 minutes, is a collection of songs and sounds that display in tandem what Paper Castles has come to be.
Many Trails is a mouthbreathing country rock act featuring songwriter/sideman A. Joseph Weaver of Castanets, Rockets and Bluelights, Ohioan, Raymond Byron and the White Freighter, Moisture Throne and more.
Maryse (sounds like Theresa) Smith is a songwriter from Burlington, Vermont. Her songs are reflections on the intricacies of human relationships.
“..Smith’s songs have a feel all their own. They’re simultaneously downers and uppers. They celebrate the quiet power of a melancholy mood….She’s especially adept at the hardest thing for any young musician to master — writing a song that can feed your head, break your heart and touch your soul.
